Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles

I had the opportunity to do preproduction design for Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles, a Nickelodeon mini-series as a painter. These designs served as color, lighting and material reference for the CG teams. Art Direction by Niko Guardia.

This design of the TMNT console was done by Michael Zhang. I designed the brick patterns and the colors.
TMNT’s headquarters layout by Michael Zhang. It was a fun challenge figuring out what was on the walls since they took up a lot of space while still making the space feel like a loft. I am really happy with the ooze paint wall and the bridge mural. I added other fun bits as a nod to NYC – which has the best bagels.
These builds populated the streets of the turtle’s city. Designed by Marianne Khalil, painted by me.
I designed color variations of the Turtles’ shells. They had to match well with each character’s different shades of green.
